The lake, about one acre, was first opened to the public in 2003. Only five fishermen are allowed to fish at a time. The lake being in a valley has deep water in the centre and was formed by damming a stream about 18 years ago. It is a quiet setting. Cars can be parked close by. The lake is well stocked with Perch, Roach, Rudd, Silver Bream, Tench, and Carp (Common, Mirror, Leather and Ghost).
Day tickets are £7 per person with 2 rods. Please telephone
